Craftsman 6.75 Torque Rear Bag Lawn Mower

When our lawn mower recently broke after twelve years, my husband and I decided to go with another Craftsman lawn mower. We purchased the lawn mower at Sears and paid about three hundred dollars for it.
The model we chose has a 6.75 torque Briggs and Stratton engine. It is extremely easy to start this mower, which I love because our previous mower almost caused my back to go out numerous times! It has always started the first time I pull it.
It has a 21 inch deck with five different cutting levels. It is a rear propelled lawn mower which is perfect for yard like ours that are sloped in many areas.
It also seems to make corners easier to turn than mowers that are front propelled. I also like that the speed is variable. You can walk very, very slow or very, very fast.
The handles fold down easily as well. Overall, this Craftsman lawn mower does a great job with our lawn. We have had the mower for over a year now with no problems at all.
However, on a recommendation from us, my mother bought the same lawn mower. She has had numerous problems with the engine since purchasing her mower.
Luckily, this model comes with a two year limited warranty that has covered all of the repair costs.
Our neighbor also has the same mower and has not had any problems either. So, it could be that my mother just happened to buy one that had a faulty engine.
Nevertheless, we are very happy with this Craftsman mower. We think it is a great value.
