Have had the Craftsman GT5000 for several years and it has been one of the best mowers we have ever had. Could be the fact that the motor itself is made by Koehler, but it has performed well. I'm not a fan of Sears Craftsman any longer since they have changed the make up of their tools and equpment but this mower has done.
