I have owned this lawn mower for over four years now and it is still going strong. The only work that has been done on this mower is general maintenance such as oil changes and blade sharpening. This lawn mower is power propelled which is a must for me. As a petite woman with a hilly yard, I attempted to mow my lawn using a non-power propelled push mower and was physically unable to do so. This lawn mower has just the right amount of power propulsion at 5.5 horsepower, making pushing the mower easy, basically just walking behind the mower, but it does not go so fast I have to run after it. It is also fairly easy to turn around trees and other obstacles and maneuver between tight spaces. This lawn mower has a 22” cutting deck, which cuts a pretty wide swath of grass, reducing time spent mowing. It can be used as a side discharge or a mulching mower by changing the mulching door to a discharge deflector for side discharge. I use the mulching feature to improve the health of my lawn. Grass does tend to build up a little underneath the lawn mower when using the mulching feature, so a few times a year it is necessary to turn the lawn mower over and clean out the accumulated dried grass. I am very happy with this lawn mower, I have a fairly large lawn and backyard and it makes it easy to trim the grass.
