Just for a reality check, there is no such thing as a Craftsman lawnmower, so I laugh heartily every time I hear "you can't beat a Craftsman!"

MOST Craftsman lawnmowers are made by MTD, and are on par with their "YardMachines" line ( Bolens at Lowes ), altho some of the better models are made by Husqvarna or Snapper.

So no matter what the model EVERYTHING in the Sears Garden and outdoor power equipment department is just some other companies product painted gray.

This little bit of reality is particularly hilarious when the so-called authority "Consumer Reports" tells you that the Craftsman Mower beats the TroyBilt, or the Craftsman tractor beats the Husqvarna, as they are the exact same units with different paint...
