John Deere LA1100

We purchased our Deere about 5 years ago from a local John Deere authorized dealer. Having a rather large to care for we decided to go with what we thought to be the best brand of lawn mower around.

We have to say we haven't been disappointed one day! Our lawn poses a variety of different challanges. We not only have level ground but much of the area is on a steep incline. With the wooded area we have on the side we often have branches that have broken that the Deere easily handles. It is easy to navigate around the trees and large bolders that landscape our yard.

We decided after the first year to purchase the 6.5-bushel rear-bagger with a chute that runs from the side discharge. Having the clippings all taken care of without any manual labor is certainly the way for most to go I would say.

Althogh we have thought at times we should also purchase the mulch kit but haven't done so to date.

LAst year we decided to take out little work horse to another level buy purchasing a 44-inch snow blower, a 46-inch snow blade and a sun canopy.

Some have said we are getting a little obsessed with our lawn tractor but we feel the investment is worth it when you have a great product that we feel saves you time and money.

It may not be anything fancy with all the bells and whistles but if you are looking for a quality product and something you can add to as you go along I think this is a great choice. We look forward to many more years with out Deere!
