Bosch Rotak 43

This review is based on our limited experience with this product. We just purchased our Bosch mower last September; we live in a cold region, and we bought it at a fall clearance.


Now it seems to me that this is a good mower for the money. We especially like the width of the mower, as we only have two small patches of lawn to mow, and one of them is extremely narrow. Most of the other mowers we looked at would protrude out past the one strip of lawn.

The motor is powerful in my opinion. The mower can also be adjusted to the height of the grass -- it has ten different height settings. This is awesome if you are lazy about mowing the grass as I am!

Another thing we liked is the lightness of the mower. I can carry it around with one hand. It is easy to maneuver, very easy in fact.

One final thing which affected our decision to buy this type of mower -- and one I want to recommend to others -- is the fact that it runs on electricity. We feel it is wise to move away from gas-powered mowers for the sake of the environment.

I have had this lawn mower for a good while now and it hasn't disappointed me at all. When opening the box and at first glance, it looks like an artefact made of a little too much plastic (at least for my taste) which might make you think initially that this is a cheap made product. On the contrary, I found it to be reliable and easy to use even for the worst of newbies, such as myself.

As mentioned above, many of its parts are plastic but this is what makes it so light and easy to carry all over the garden. It is mainly featured in not the nicest of greens but I guess it reflects the environment in which it works. It has improved my garden dramatically in terms of looks and even managed to achieve a 'clean strips' look everywhere. This lawn mower has made cutting the grass a much easier and quicker job to carry out so I can have more time on my weekends. The recipient where all the waste goes is extremely easy to unmeant and empty on the refuse collection bags. The blade can be adjusted at different heights. I use it at the lowest for maximum cut which keeps my garden looking tidy for approximately 6 weeks at a time. A fantastic value for money product I highly recommend it.
