Keep the rabbits away

by Morgan

Placing dog or cat hair around your garden helps keep rabbits/chipmunks away.

I read about this online and didn't really believe it. But after trying it out with my dog's hair, the rabbits are no longer raiding my garden.

Dog & Cat Hair for Deer - Human Hair Works Too
by: Anonymous

Human hair also works for keeping deer out of the garden, it also works on moles, dig a hole in the mole tunnel and put hair in the tunnel. I usually do this in three or four places. The moles leave, supposedly the hair irritates their skin.

Keeping the bunnies out of the flower garden!
by: Katherine

Bunnies can be a wonderful animal around to see them sitting pretty in the grass on a bright sunny day and then hopping off to whereever they want to roam. The worst place for them to be is in your flower garden. You have spent countless hours in your flower garden planting those beautiful plants that will quickly grow and produce colorful flowers then to have those cute bunnies come in and start munching on those flowers and plants. Well, I have found the perfect website that is geared to helping you keep those precious bunnies out of your flower garden, but letting them stay in your yard. The products that can be used are called "shake away"! You can find the products at www.critter-repellent.com. These products help keep those pesky critters away from your flower garden and even your yard. Plus, all of the products are 100% organic, non toxic, and naturally safe to use.

rabbits!
by: Alison

Thank you so much for this tip. It has been frustrating to buy certain flowering and vegetable plants, only to have them eaten by rabbits. And it's excellent that this is a natural, non-toxic method. Will definitely be trying this!

It is True

This really does work! My mother and father are avid gardeners and they swear by this method! Sometimes I wonder if that is the real reason that they even keep the pets around!

Great tip if it works
by: Anonymous

I am going to give this a try. With 2 dogs I have lots of hair to use. Hopefully it will keep the rabbits away from my carots and strawberries. I have tried some other suggestions in the past that have not worked or that I was afraid of hurting the rabbits. This sounds like it just might be the ticket.
