This is a good engine for a self propelled unit. Starting is not that hard, typical for a mower. It has a 3-n-1 cutting system, which means it can bag, mulch, or side discharge. Bagging is just as dusty as most mowers.
Blow by with the bagging unit seems to be a problem with all manufacturers, not just Husqvarna. I really have not used the mulching feature, but I have not heard anything negative about this feature either.
The unit performs well with the side discharge feature. The unit has a 3-n-1 blade, so you get a pretty fine cut when discharging, because the blade is designed to mulch as well. The self propelled feature is adequate.
I have read that this manufacturer has problems with transmissions. Those reviews mostly concern front wheel drive. My mower is a rear wheel drive.
The nicest feature of this unit is the single height adjustment lever. This makes it easier to adjust the deck height than having to change each individual wheel like so many models require. With the look of the mower, it looks like the company is putting allot of thought into ergonomics.
