Lawn Boy 10795 Insight Platinum

This Lawn Boy mower has a 21 inch deck and a nice Honda engine. It has large wheels that are nice when dealing with hilly lawns. It’s price is decent if you are looking for a push mower, roughly 600 dollars. The MSRP said 900 dollars but it is definitely not that much. From what I have read, this engine does not meet California’s emissions regulations, so it may not work if you live there.

As far as noise goes, it is typical for a gas powered lawn mower. It is nowhere near an electric for noise levels. If you are looking for a mower that is nice and quiet, an electric mower is probably what I would look for. It also has what is called “Sens-a-Speed”. This is supposed to, as the name says, sense the speed you are walking at and self propel itself at that speed. I didn’t really believe this would actually work, but low and behold, it works really quite well. It never feels like it is pulling out of my grasp, and it maneuvers quite well with that size of tire.

The handle folds up for storage, and you can adjust just about everything. This makes it so you can basically tailor the mower to your own height and needs. Oh, and it also starts quite easily. The engine runs well, and it is also made in the USA which is a nice plus!

Overall, when it comes down to it, this is quite a nice little lawn mower. It is more expensive then most of the other mowers I have bought, but I wholeheartedly feel that it was worth every penny. If you are in need of a new mower, I suggest that you go check out one of these fully loaded bad boys from Lawn Boy’s platinum line!
